They can't have just been random kids. Bro rolled up to the door with that gun like he had clear understanding of who he was after and what he expected from them had they seen him first. Maybe they did roll up to get food but you don't get gunned down for some random basic stuff like that. Something happened previously that prompted the attack that isn't being disclosed.

Interesting. I had a friend in grade school who's mom would drive him to the house of a kid that bullied him, just so the boys could fight. My friend ended up teaching the bully a lesson, but the whole idea that a parent would drive their child into battle seemed odd. I was only about ten years old. The story got out on the playground, and my friend became the new bully...
