The Evo 2 is currently the benchmark fold up prosumer drone.
It far exceeds the capabilities of the Mavic 2 Pro in all facets, except for some DJI auto photo functions, eg auto pano, 360, etc.

Before you buy any drone with a camera or even any camera, understand FIRST that high resolution means nothing to image quality. Always go for drones with higher definition images. You could watch a 720p video that was shot on a higher definition sensor with more details than an 8k video. Resolution only means more pixels and not more quality. So, the bigger the sensor is the image/video will have a higher definition, more quality and details. Skips the 8k drone and just get the 6k unless image quality is not your priority.

I bought an autell evo2 8k drone a year ago.
After the 4th time it was sent for repair, it never came back! In the 3rd month of writing emails, they finally give me my money back!
I had problems with smart flying, my battery got stuck and could not be pulled out, recording in the wrong direction, while recording visible propellers, ect...

Wait, this drone is 2kg!?
Oh, man. I had no idea it's that massive. That's more than twice as heavy as Mavic 2 Pro.
This is truly for professionals who need it for some jobs and not travelers. Even though I photograph motorsport and don't take my drone on travels, I wouldn't really take this with me. My photo bag has limited space.

Autel Robotics EVO II V2 8K Drone vs DJI mavic 3 curious but looks pretty darn awesome, only benefits from dji is replacing refresh if the bird goes down.
