Geminid meteor shower 2021 - REAL-TIME HD - Norway

Hey Friends! It's been a long time and a lot has been happening!

I have been struggling with this new a7sIII to get the right settings/picture profile for extreme low-light, and you would NOT believe what my favorite settings are... It's a subject for another video coming soon, but I can tell you it's not ISO 40K like my good old a7s!

This is just a short HD compilation video I took yesterday during the peak of the Geminid meteor shower in Hansnes, Norway. I used the Sony a7s and a7sIII so the main result is in HD, but a lot of content is available in 4K for licensing. I will also upload a 4K version later.

Great captures! Cat woke me up at 00:30 and from the lightpolluted Stavanger I saw like 6 nice ones during ten minutes. Luckiky, he woke me up again at 4:30. Sky was still partially cloudy but I stayed awaken until I went to work.
Fun fact, all weather models shown full cloud coverage... That's why it's worth chasing every night 😀

One of the best showers I’ve seen ever. Saw one early Tuesday in route to work and brushed it off thinking I’m seeing things it’s 4AM but once we took off for the day I and the guy I was riding with spotted At least 5-6 more. So cool and truthfully mesmerizing. Thanks for sharing!!

My birthday is December 13th and I headed to a bar after work and was video chatting with a friend on the drive. I remember at midnight she said happy birthday to me and at 12:06am I saw a meteor shoot straight down from the sky!! Probably going to be the best memory of my birthday! Definitely won’t forget the universe giving me and other December 13th babies a shooting star for our birthday!! This was amazing, I’ll be looking up at the sky on my birthday from now on!!
