PowerShell script to Silently Upgrade Windows with the Windows Upgrade Assistant

This allows you to upgrade windows using PowerShell & the windows upgrade assistant.

You can use this to run the Windows Upgrade assistant silently in the background rather then having to download it & run it.

We're trying to use this script but we would like to add a check in the script to I.E. check for a file that is created when the update process is completed, if the file exists don't run the script.
Are you able to assist with this, please?

only the update wizard is downloaded but it does not run and in the logs it shows me the following message "Fired and forgotten?"

I noticed the assistant has some command line options to silently install/not prompt for reboot, anychance you can work those into the script?

Can you suggest similar script to upgrade older unsupported builds i.e. Windows 10 1803\1809\1903\1909 to Windows 10 21H2 (November 2021) Feature Update.

Also is it possible to avoid rebooting after the process ? User should get prompt to reboot as Feature Update installation has completed?

Hi, Good script but Please I want to ask you I tried it on our two machines and afterdownload there is no pop up window with Your update is ready Your PC needs to restart to complete the update and restart button. there is no window I only can waiting and after some time the restart is forced without any notification. How can I show the windows after download is completed ?
