I still don't get it so if I have a set of 10 reps with rpe7 does that mean I only 7 reps?

So from now one I go on reps and when I stop halfway I do another rep

so if we only talk about rir, for example my set would be 8 reps then during my working set even i can still do more than 8, will i stop there for rir 3?

RPE is bullshit. And an excuse to not push hard. You cant perceive the difficulty of a lift accurately. For example if you record your self doing a heavy set of squats, during the set you might think the last two were really slow. But then you watch the video back and they were both the same speed.


Its also just a way to sell template programs to the masses without actually coaching them.
