Great and amusing review..refreshing. I’m currently riding the 650dsx, engineering wise it is exceptional for the price paid, finding it difficult to find a justifiable criticism of the bike. The 900dsx when it arrives in the UK ……and I guess BMW will try to prevent Loncin from exporting into Europe and the U S of A for as long as possible….it will hit the likes of Honda, Yamaha and triumph in the wallet good style.
This marketing technique is an exact copy of the Japanese in the 60’s when everyone riding BSA, Norton, Triumph were bouncing like a yo-yo on the kick start sneered when the electric start, super smooth motorcycles arrived from the land of the rising sun.
The snob value customers in the UK will be reluctant for some time to accept Voge but for now I’m really enjoying putting the 650dsx through it’s paces and surprising many. The Rally is certainly affecting sales of the CRF 300 and the Voge reputation will surely grow, once the UK customers extract their nostrils down from their butt!
Sadly, the Chinese are taking over commercially, but as we’re the author of our own destiny the West can only blame themselves.
