Lucy remains Steady to Flush and is also Steady to shot, Fall of Bird and Retrieves to Hand on Command - This was accomplished with positive reinforcement training and the Premack Principle. www.lucycloud.com

So the dog scents but doesn't see the bird? Are there times when you let dog see bird on the ground, and other times you don't (beginning, 2nd part, 3rd part, etc, of barrel work)?

Hi Dr. Hubbard--really love watching your videos! My pup would have gone on point already before I got to the barrel--how would you deal with that?

How the heck is this positive reinforcment????.Dog stands to a barell so that avoid fall from it.He must stay in behaviour becose consequence is falling(positive punishment), and you marking with a clicker bird(reward) escaping from a dog(negative punishment)...
