They all got the best version of you. You have shown them that you can always grow, learn, and improve. I am a mental health therapist, and I work with children and families, and you are doing amazing, Mama!! ❤

I totally get it. My #1 son was born when I was 19. I had my #2 son at 34. They were each like an only child. The 2nd son definitely had it easier than the 1st son because I was much more financially stable. Surprisingly, they are both financially level headed men which makes me very proud. I tried so hard to give them my love and my time and not spend money to make them happy. I feel like I succeeded.😊

Seeing you do better as you learned and knew better, is an invaluable lesson. One of the greatest gifts you can give your kids is resilience and showing them how to do it is wonderful.

❤❤❤ Girl, I know exactly how you feel. All of my children are grown now and I have had the honor of acknowledging their feeling and empathizing with them about MY actions when they were young. I think its important for them to move on from certain things they may have been holding onto from childhood. I gave them a safe space to go back and mend any brokenness they may have from the past so they can move forward in their lives and feel more free to let go. What people don't understand is what might have been small or nothing to you, could've been a big something to some else. So kudos to you for acknowledging this fact. ❤ Much love and light sister.

Same here I have 3 kids and I am battling the same thing. I was a young mom tried to get it together thru trial and error at 19 and the 2nd child I was 24 wiser and smarter but not financially stable either and now at 32 just having the 3rd in 2024 Im more patient 😮

But they all have a great mom now! And don’t downplay that, at least 😊

If you don’t mind… what are some of the podcasts that you listen to to help with parenting?

Awe, they’re all so lucky to have you as a mom regardless of what stage you were in when they came along. The fact that you want all of them to have had the very best possible life is so heartwarming. So many people are only focused on what’s best for themselves. You are a jewel! ❤

That’s a interesting way of describing being above to three kids at different ages I’ve never really thought of it that way, but kind of makes sense but most of all your their Mom

❤ you are not alone in the way that you feel about it with your kids, I feel the same. And even worse, I let my oldest two spend too much time with their grandparents to the point where the grandparents were literally offended and thought I was 'keeping' my kids from them when In actuality, they were just old enough to say that they WANTED to stay with me. I still regret so much of it but honestly it's hard to even say I'd take it back because I don't know if I would be as good as I am now as a mom if I hadn't realized how precious this short time is in all of our lives. I just hope they want to talk to me and spend time with me on purpose, not out of 'mom-bligation' or just on random holidays when they are grown ups❤

I understand completely. When my mom dies I will NOT cry for her. When my brother and sisters mom dies I will never stop crying for her. They got the awsome version I did not

"Getting more stuff" doesn't always result in better kids. My guess is that your two oldest children will grow up appreciating things more because they had exposure to struggle.

Why are you hard on yourself regarding motherhood, like have the kids said this? No??.. then you're doing well.
