Swiftwater Rescue Training Course for Field Workers

Members of Living Lakes Canada's CABIN-STREAM team participated in a Swiftwater Rescue Training Course for Field Workers on the Mamquam River in Squamish in June 2021. Typically, the CABIN protocol monitors sites that are in "wadeable streams" with water only reaching up to mid-thigh, however Swiftwater Rescue certification ensures a basic understanding of the dynamics of swift water rescue for worst-case scenarios.
