2017 Kia Optima 1.7 Turbodiesel Acceleration Top speed

This is a 2017 Kia Optima with the 1.7 Turbo Diesel Engine. 141 PS and 340 Nm of Torque, 6 speed manual transmission.
Traction control off, 100% stock.
A great car for a long journey, quiet and spacious. The only issue is the underpowered engine and the high weight making the car pretty slow especially after around 120 km/h.

It seems really slow for that engine. I dirve a 2015 Kia Carens with that exact same engine and it's insane! If you floor it in 2nd gear it smokes the tires all the way up to 80-90 km/h. It's like it's got 500hp or something 😆So I'm surprised that this Optima can barely spin up the wheels in 1st gear
