I love to geek out about the physics of sound. This channel focuses on the growing opportunity for live sound engineers to improve their confidence and consistency through the understanding of the principles of sound system design and optimization. My goal is to make this channel upfront and honest about my success and failure, so you can learn from both.

I am always open to suggestions and feedback so please comment on this video or contact me through my site.

Hi Nathan. It took me a few iterations to understand the process, but I've got it now and boy is it fun. I'm using it to examine the magnitude responses for some single 18" powered subs that I'm considering buying. I own 3 pairs of mismatched subs now, all of which are no longer being manufactured. My goal is to unload what I have and move to four matching subs so I can try some different subwoofer deployment configurations. Thanks for posting this helpful tutorial.
