Thank you for posting this video! I test in three weeks, and this was a good refresher from what Ive been studying. If a teacher gives student a book at their level to do silent reading for fluency would that fall under accuracy or rate? I am leaning towards rate, since its silent the teacher might not know if they are reading the words correctly.

Hello! I get very confused with the definitions as they all seem to fall under the same category between the terms ‘word analysis’, ‘word awareness’, and ‘structural analysis’. I have a learning disability myself, and the RICA isn’t created for teachers who have a difficult time memorizing due to their cognitive deficit.
