Beautiful Brasov, Romania in 4K.
Located in Central Romania, in the Southern Carpathian Mountains, Brasov is a beautiful city with remarkable gothic, baroque and renaissance architecture, historical attractions and Mount Tampa as impressive background. Brasov is one of the most visited places in Romania.
Founded by the Teutonic Knights in 1211 on an ancient Dacian site and settled by the Saxons as one of the seven walled citadels, Brasov exudes a distinct medieval ambiance.
This travel video features some of the top attractions and places to visit. The heart of the city is the picturesque Old town with historic buildings like the City Hall and the Black church, as well as plenty of cozy cafes and restaurants. Other places included in the video are: Catherine's gate, Unirii square, First Romanian school museum, St. Nicholas church, beautiful panoramic views from the top of Mount Tampa, etc.

Stayed in Brasov for a month in 2007, I was 19 and it was my first trip alone from the UK. I adored it and look back on fantastic memories, this video helps me to re-live them! Hope to come back one day

I'm missing that view from the street pointing eastwards with its panoramic-like view directly towards the BRASOV hill. I stopped there at the seafood restaurant; one of the best meals I've ever had 😀

Nice city. There are many bears around it. It was at first built by saxonian germans, later altered a bit by hungarians, and romanians. Therefore it is a bit multicultural city.Mostly romanian now.
