Chicken Sausage and Peppers Recipe #shorts

Ingredients:
6 chicken sausage uncooked
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small yellow onion sliced
2 garlic cloves minced or grated
1 red bell, core removed and sliced
1 green bell, core removed and sliced
1/2 fennel bulb, core removed and sliced (optional)
1/2 tsp rosemary minced(fresh or dry)
1/2 tsp thyme minced (fresh or dry)
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1.5 cups of pearl couscous, orzo or quinoa
2.5 cups of chicken broth

-Add 2 tbsp of olive oil to a large pan. Raise temperature to medium heat and once hot, add sausage. Cook until sausage is fully cooked, rotating as it cooks.
-Remove sausage and add onions, then the garlic.
-Add rosemary, thyme, salt and pepper
-Once the onions are tender, add peppers and fennel.
-Cook the veggies until tender and then remove from pan.
-Add the couscous and broth. Bring water to a boil, then down to a simmer stirring to make sure the couscous does stick to the bottom of the pan.
-Once the couscous is fully cooked (about 8 minutes), add back the peppers and the sausage.
-Serve warm and dive in!!

All of your food looks delicious and I’m SO GLAD that you don’t say, “so good” at the end of your videos. Too many cooking channels are coping each other and saying that. So annoying. Anywho, please keep the delicious recipes coming! Yummmy!!
