I think this movie was way more deeper than people think. Many people think Majnu went mad in love of Laila and felt bad for him. But he actually didn't got a bad ending at all. In reality, Majnu' s love was so true and pure that God came himself in front of him in the form of Laila. It is also shown in the ending scene, where he is lying in the bed and his friends tell him that Laila has come . But he replies that i know she is Laila but who is she in front of he smiles and says that she is my Laila who is present she is my La illah Laillah In Arabic, La illah means God. This was the reason why he was not interested in Laila anymore because now he was not interested in material things. Majnu reached that bhakti stage where only few great saint or sages could reach. Laila also realised this thing and says " ye hum logo se bhot aage badh chuka hai " .Laila also loved majnu but she was always worried about her family, people and society. But Majnu was always ready to leave everything for Laila . That's why in the end Laila got death and Majnu got the God himself.

Jab Qais movie ke 3rd Act me prayer kar rahe logo ke pas jata hai aur kehta hai ki " AP BHI TO APNE MASUKA SE BAAT KAR RAHE HO " it was very true and hit me hard. They were also doing the same but unka ways alag the it truly is beautiful at its 3rd Act. IT TRULY WAS BEAUTIFUL!!
