Surely we can’t say that 304 people were admitted out of 5 million as there were not 5 million infected patients. It would be useful to know the total number of cases within this vaccinated group and then the number of those that were hospitalised.

Can anyone explain why travel and work restrictions apply to those that have had covid, recovered and have T cell immunity whereas if you have the vaccine you are exempt . It’s always been the medical ethos that natural immunity is superior to vaccine immunity . Recent studies show that natural immunity offers better protection on variants than vaccine immunity, yet those with natural immunity are being treated as if they are completely unprotected . Never in the history of medicine have we insisted that those with natural immunity are forced to also have the vaccine to have any freedom . Something stinks .

Dr John needs to revisit and correct his own unintended error. We all make mistakes, but, as has been pointed out, it's 304 hospitalizations from an UNSPECIFIED number of cases within a double vaccinated population of 5.17m.

It could be 304 out of 3000 cases or 15, 000 or so on. What it definitely won't be is 304 out of 5.17 m cases.

What are the daily case rates in Israel at present and what proportion has been double jabbed?

To say that 304 were hospitalised out of a total of 5.17 million vaccinated But the 5.17 million were not all exposed to the virus so this is not a valid proportion.
You would need to compare with a similar number of unvaccinated of similar ages and comorbidities, living in the same level of virus circulation .

to say 304 out of 5 million were hospitalised would not be an accurate number or relative percentage as only a small portion of that 5 million would of been actively exposed to the virus after immunisation. the actual percentage of those who get the virus after the vaccine and require hospitalisation would be much higher as only a small percentage of that 5 million would of been exposed
