Godzilla Resurgence (2016) Trailer Review

Here's my initial thoughts of the upcoming Godzilla film, from Toho. The main question is when/how will it be released internationally?

... I watched the trailer... and the music I recognize it inmediatly ...that's Shiro Sagisu and the London orchestra... you know him for doing the soundtracks for all the Evangelion's movies

Actually there is no suit. This monster IS completely CG. They did think about that though and animated the monster in such a way that it looks like an actor in a suit. It's really quite amazing really.

There will be three kind of people watching this in the west:
1. Godzilla fans.
2. Hideaki Anno fans.
3. The kind of people who'd ask about the lip syncing.

I'm primarily excited for this as an Evangelion fan. This movie's being written by Hideaki Anno, the creator of Evangelion.

Godzilla Resurgence is being directed by Hideaki Anno, one of the biggest names in anime, he directed Neon Genesis Evangelion.

I think that instead of huge theatrical release for America, they should send it out through streaming services.

Such as Netflix and Hulu.

Face it, people tend to be very nationalistic in regards to their movies. Even the foreign movie genre is considered to be very niche.

That's just what I think, despite The Raid movies being huge successes but those are action movies with loads of ass kicking so it kinda cheated.
