Audi A4 B8 (2009) door card removal & lock actuator replacement

This week I am working on a slightly larger car than previously. I am preparing to sell my audi a4 and I've decided to record along one of the minor jobs it required.

How long did the new actuator last before it failing again. I've heard that its the design of the actuator that causes them to fail easily and often and new replacement actuators dont last long.

Thanks for the video, it is indeed helpful! I have a question however if you know, how many pins are on the spare part? I have seen for the same car model with 6 (in line) or 7 (two lines 4 + 3) pins. Do you know (or anyone else) how I can figure out which one is for me, without taking the door apart?

in my case my front door don't open but the rear door also sometimes does not lock😱I realized it works on hot days more often

Don’t buy them. Just open the actuator and clean the motors.
