Exploring the origin and history of the Brotherhood of Nod in the Command and Conquer Tiberium timeline/universe. Edit: Small mistake around the 10:43 second mark of the video where I pronounce it "Gain" Trade Center when the correct name of the building is the "Grain" Trade Center. Timestamps, corrections and/or clarifications posted below.

I like how you ended at Kane's Wrath for there is no such game as C&C4 and nothing happened after Kane's Wrath.

Love how the fourth game doesn't exist. As it should be

Great lore summary, I’m replaying Kane’s wrath so was a good reminder of the details and overall plot. Keep it up!

Really fun series of lore.

Tiberian sun was the first C&C game I played.

It's really the backbone of the franchise.

I mostly like the idea that Kane's Brotherhood rose to power through Stalin's victory in Red Alert. While it is possible that Kane could still rise after the Allies victory over the Soviets, I find his involvement in the Soviet campaign to be the moment the Brotherhood of Nod truly came out of the shadows. And that Kane took whatever Soviet secrets he could and salvaged what remained of the Allies tech for his own secret army.

Kane was Cain all along. He was made immortal by God, as punishment. He survived the Flood using his craftiness and shrewdness.

The grave of Abel was also controlled by him.
After you defeated the last Scrin on Earth, he took the chance to hijack the Tiberium control facility to "ascend", that is, going wherever he wanted.

"... claimed to have discovered it [Tiberian]." Claimed? They were waiting for it..

Tratos "Helped" translate The Tacitus. But it has ALWAYS belonged to Kane.

Looking back I wish we had missions in the campaign where you had to avoid conflict with other nations, work to assist those other nations and even have to defeat them in a strategic move or whatnot.

Great video; I love that you used the vids from the C&C remaster. For the technology of peace!

I just discovered you but your channel is amazing. It's rare to see someone take the time to make such well-edited videos on Command & Conquer lore, and you didn't forget Renegade! I hope in the future you branch out to the Red Alert universe!

In Serbian culture it is not difficult to know that the actual spelling ought to have been Slavić, meaning that in fact the final part would actually be pronounced with the ending -itch rather than -ik, literally "son of [the] great [people]."

Other than ICBM standing for Intercontinetnal Ballistic missile (making an ICBM Missile kind of redundant), this is great. I've been looking for more deets on Nod for ever.
