Newsflash ... people cuss when things are blowing up and they are being shot at. If want to help people see "what really went on" ... well, I wasn't there but I am willing to bet they, on occasion, used bad language.

You all are ridiculous, upset about foul language and asking if God is it? Wow

"Is God mentioned?" - nope. Neither is Santa - but its a great movie anyway

You wanted it more clean and wholesome? It was war. And in war, there is cursing, killing and mayhem. Good grief.

I just saw Midway this afternoon, , I thought that it was quite good. Way better then Michael Bay's Pearl Harbor.

I am giving this movie 3.5 stars only because "Hollyweird" managed to put their own twist on another historical event that was left out of one the most significant events of the War in the Pacific. To this date no other President (Truman) has had to make such a decision and that was the dropping of 2 nuclear bombs on Japan. I'm all about peace and love etc but that needed to happen in order to end the War in the Pacific. I'm sure I'll get TONS of negative comments about this but I'm all about accurately portraying historical events and this one fell short in my opinion. THANKS HOLLYWEIRD!
