I wish, there was more guidance on how the MoveIt function publish's information and that is being subscribed by Isaac sim. so that we could learn how to load a different URDF and load it in isaac sim and edit the configuration files accordingly.

Thanks a ton for putting together such a great demo! I followed along, and it works great most of the time. But sometimes I’ve noticed that the robot in Isaac Sim doesn’t quite stick to the path that MoveIt planned—it sometimes drifts off the track or even ends up stopping at the wrong goal pose.

Just wondering if you’ve run into this issue before? And if so, do you have any tips on how to fix it?

With this implementation is it easy to generate/ visualize any force torque sensing through any actions? Maybe a pick and place or any other method ? Do you have any insight on that?

nice tutorial, it’s very helpful. I have a other question, the UR5 and robotic85 gripper combined robot can using in Issac, I once tried this in Gazebo, and control by moveit rviz, but robot in gazebo can not control, it seems the combined robot is incompatible in robot, have you any similar situation like this?

Thank you for this video and a quick question - how can I use a depth camera to simulate the pick and place of objects using object detection in Isaac sim.
And now that isaac sim is 4.5.0 there are some things missing in the latest version.

I have a description file of the robot “urdf” and also “xacro”. But when I spawn the robot into the gazebo, the initial pose of the robot is different from the pose in Rviz2

Hi Sir, Your presentations and videos are too good. I need a help. I am having trouble installing the other package except moveit_py. I tried to do a binary installation like:

sudo apt-get install ros-humble-moveit-py

But this doesn't work.

I saw in a comment that "In case of ROS Humble, there is no binary provided for “moveitpy” package". Am I good to go with rest of the tutorial without installing this?
