“I will return for judgement”
Arishem, the Judge. David Kaye nailed the voice.

Imagine waking up in the morning stepping outside and seeing that in the sky though

I love that when Arishem teleports, he creates a black hole

Jon Snow saying "Cersei, what's wrong?" and sounding like he cared was more than my brain can handle.

It’s so weird that he’s not in the sky but just chilling next to our planet. Man the Earth is so small.

This was by far the most impressive scene in the movie.

I love the reaction everyone has. A giant space god appears in the sky? Eh, must be Tuesday. Really says how used to everything the civilians of the MCU are.

It wasn't until the credits where i discovered Arishem was voiced by David Kaye.
A man i know for voicing two different versions of Megatron over 5 shows and an Optimus (Plus Grimlock and Lugnut) in another.
Needless to say i was pretty damn surprised, along with confused that i hadn't recognised him.

Arishem conveying such power even just in his first MCU appearance is just one example of why Thor is so badass and deserves so much respect. In the comics, he stands alone against Arishem's entire fourth host of celestials who just killed the entirety of Asgard, endures their attacks and 'for the first time in his endless eons of existence' topples Arishem, sending him to the floor with Mjolnir before stabbing him with the Odinsword. While Arishem is so advanced that he simply melts the Odinsword rather than reacting to it prior, the point still stands. Thor punches above his weight and he hits hard.

Also I dislike that Arishem speaks English. I get that it can be seen as him communicating with the language they know but, the Celestials are meant to be so, so far advanced, like gods among gods, that they actually send messengers to speak on their behalf. Once they actually cloned Thor and kept the clone after it was done speaking their words to him.

Say what you want about Eternals, but they nailed the epicness of the Celestials

Im surprised that he didn't sound angry or enraged when the Eternals disobeyed his orders and killed a celestial

I also like how it potentially opened the door for Galactus's debut in the MCU.

>shows up
>establishes and enforces dominance
>doesnt elaborate other than "ill let yall prove their worth"

This movie has a lot of hate, but this scene imo is one of the most intimidating moments in the mcu up to date

I always get the chills when the clouds spread away and giant glowing eyes stare at you
