As an oldster who first became a fan of the character in 1966 Kato was never The Hornet's sidekick. He was always seen by us kids as an equal partner. Bruce Lee's performance elevated him in our eyes.

S/o to Bruce Lee, the only man Batman didn’t want to test.

One thing that wasn't mentioned about the Green Hornet that made it so popular was that the he was wanted by both the police and the mob. In order to be effective with his crusade, He portayed himself to be a mob boss in order to get close to gangs, racketeers, crime lords, and other criminals. Because of that reputation, he was also wanted by the police.

I want to see Green Hornet make a comeback in other media. Whether it’s a live action tv series or movie, these characters shouldn’t be shelved any longer.

When I was still in high school, I remember reading a collection of Green Hornet issues from Dark Horse Comic's run of the character and instantly falling in love with the character. It really opened my eyes to the idea of interesting superheroes that exist beyond the mainstream companies like Marvel and DC.
EDIT: Now that I think about it, it might have been Dynamite's 2010 run. Whoops!

Like The Shadow, The Green Hornet is also one of the great classics. Great to see him get covered on this channel

The Hornet and his irreplaceable companion confident are severely underrated.

I love these pulp heros! My dad and I used to love listening to “The Whistler” radio show ( a cd of it since it was early 2000s instead of when it was debuted over 80 years before)

Green Hornet is hands down my favorite pulp hero next to the shadow! I really want to see a crossover comic between Green Hornet and Kato vs Green Arrow and Speedy

Old school Green Hornet 66 fan here. Thanks for covering Mr Reid and company. The Phantom, Shadow, & Green Hornet deserve good movie versions. But people are stupid and wouldn't understand. Great channel 👍

Honestly I can see an adaption of the year One story as it easily explains how and why they got to that point, and then you can just do the other storys.
Honestly I hope we get to see the Green Hornet come back on the big screen ot maby even television especially since right now were in a superhero fatigue and need something new and different, and it could be more interesting as a time peace but it can probably work in modern day too.

There is one hero you have got to do it's the Spirit, you can't do the Shadow and Green Hornet without the Spirit.

Green Hornet is one of my Favorites. I love the premise of a good guy playing a bad guy.
