George Bush: "I'd like to thank the Canadian people who came out to greet us and wave....with all 5 fingers." LOL!

If anyone is aware of a reputable book on this very subject, I would be very interested, there would have to be much to say about Canadian-American leadership relationships that is not abundantly known.

It seems that the only communication between Pierre Trudeau and Lyndon Johnson was by phone!

So, the look back is pomp and circumstance set to some music? What of more political substance comes of the lead up and conversations, does it result in open discussion of maintaining and improving fair relations or just posturing for the cameras?

Pierre Trudeau, was probably the most intelligent world leader, during the 20th century ...his intelligence was unsurpassed ...must have been difficult for him, to be as smart as he was ...I would have liked to converse with Pierre, over lunch
