Downtown in China (Jiangyin City)

I live in a city called Jiangyin here in China, its a beautiful city that has a lot of attractions, Jiangyin belongs to Wuxi which is in Jiangsu Province.

In this Video I took a walk downtown to see the sights and the food stalls and just to have a walk there in general to see what's going on.
Ill definitely be making more videos here as there was a lot to see and do, and I want to especially try the food there as it smelt so good.
Also that park that I walked through was so majestic, calm and relaxing. Everyone was chilled, enjoying the music and conversation. That's what life is about.

Thx for showing this park in Wuxi. We were there in 1999 but it was pouring when we arrived... so we just stood under the entrance pavilion and ehen the rain stopped the park was closing. Your absolutely right Araf!!! The houses etc of classical Chinese architecture were a aset refor the filming of the the famous Chinese classic, " Dreams of the Red Mansions."
You should read it, lots about Chinese culture.

4:33 it says " Mr. sun yat-sen memorial tower" :D 4:41 " I think it was a speech given by Mr Sun in 1912, called for some kind of kickstart of modernization from Jiangyin. A bit difficult to translate, something may have lost in the translation, given the historical (political/cultural) context etc. Sun was a nationalist, but highly respected by both nationalists and communists.

During the Qing Dynasty, the Manchurian emperor passed an edict that Chinese men must have queues (pigtails) to show their subjugation to the Manchus. Read "The Story of Ah Queue" by China's famous satirist,
LuXun. The man and his wife are Manchurians, but the architecture is classical Chinese.

The game they're playing is called Go, a hugely popular board game.
There's a documentary about an Ai beating the world champion called Alpha GO, its quite scary actually. I felt sorry for the champion guy.
