Saw "Moon Rocks" on Google Maps Satellite view. It is close to the Paiute Reservation and Pyramid Lake, a short drive from the studio. A popular place for off-road vehicles, where your car can try to climb rocks. There is an interesting subculture around it. Delightfully mind-blowing behavior, possessed of a strangely endearing arrogant innocence. They have no idea they are on an ancient vision questing ground that holds fascinating secrets.
My problem here is: I also enjoy ridiculously hyper-functional technology, and would probably really enjoy driving one of these 500 horsepower turtle/hare chimera. Adult toys with six guns under the hood — and I have that wild child within me, too. The paradigms collide before my electronic eyes.
