Re-stacking protocols will also offer liquid stacking at some point and maybe same thing the other way.

There will still be the option to choose the liquid stacking + the re-stacking protocol but users will choose a protocol that offers both. That reduce protocol risks and user just have to deal with one APR/APY %

Lido op ex is 16m, they do 100+m, market share has been flat for 6 months, rocket pool has lost market share at 1/10th the size. do you expect them to go to 100% market share? On a high activity day they did $6m in fees in a day, that will happen for days on end in the bull, you’re forgetting about tips and MEV. They don’t need to increase market share to drastically increase revenue. Also insti product just launched and symbiotic coming. LDO easily goes to $15

Realising Vitalik is a labour theory of value (as least when it comes to the value of eth blockspace) kind of person is the final straw for me.

Here is the reality when you look at DeFi revenue growth. Imagine you have a soda machine in the middle of nowhere in Texas. Only one guy is buying one soda every day. But if you live in Zimbabwe and denominate everything in Zimbabwe dollars, you will see that soda machine having consistent revenue growth. How can that happen? It is just the same guy buying the same soda every day. It is because your Zim dollar is depreciating against the US dollar. In the case here, it is just the US dollar depreciating against ETH price.

Arguing ETH DeFi protects your downside more is bad. The charts say otherwise. They don't look like beta when ETH goes up. They always sure look like betas when ETH goes down.

ETH aggregator theory doesn't work because ETH gas is horrible on the main net and ETH L2s have loads of friction in interoperability. No one wants to use 1 inch when you blow up the fee by 2x when the base fee is already high.
