When getting out of something that isnt good for you, but you were very attached, it can be so hard to not go back. I parted ways with someone 4 months ago, and I haven't gone a week without having the urge to contact them again. But I do thoroughly believe in the idea that that space is necessary.

Asked a girl out today but got declided as she is already commited to someone. Aside from her being mature and telling me straight, I am also happy that it no longer hurts or makes me sad so I too agree “happy enough” is a great way of putting it

Sooo true!! I was with Tim off and on for over 11 yrs because I was afraid of being alone. When I let go of him and the need for someone, I met Ed. He treats me like gold ✨ and I'm loving every minute of it.

That’s why I’m most grateful my ex broke up with me because he wanted his freedom to be single and sleep around. He decided he didn’t want marriage and wanted 100% custody of kids because he didn’t want to pay child support. Not because he thinks he’ll be a better parent. The guy is such a mess and a walking red flag. Needs so much validation on social media it’s cringy and he’s pushing 40. Since the breakup I’ve travelled the world, learned a 6 language, strengthen my relationships with family and friends and am doing the inner work to be more secure. Because I owe this to myself and I’m proud that I did. He can do whatever he wants, I just never want to know about it.

Totally 💯. Why keep the person that you’re not happy with..It was hard letting him go but I’m also happier without him. In fact, I am so much in peace without him. I’m trying to give way or space that is truly belong to my life ❤…and the only way to achieve it is to let go of things or people that is not good for you in the long run…

This was articulated in SUCH a powerful way. My Friday nights… the gaze at my phone… This truly made it feel real. Any easy hookup seems harmless if we both agree. But it is harming us… time. Space. Wow

This is where I am at that's what happened to me 😢breaking up with her was what I needed and the breakup is hard because she took up all that space I now need to be happy with me without her...move on I have my spirit that was being hurt I need a man to meet me where I am at and I first need to be happy with who I am now amen I now have God and believe 🙏 in prayer and happiness now in my soul that's only right it hurts but it's what is ment to be ...where is your retreat or can we talk online for therapy 🤔?
