Good stuff Trevor! For forwards, I do a modified power forward. Just a little throttle to help me move forward without leaning forward and then hit the gas after the wing goes above 45°. Like you said, you need to commit on the forward. More speed makes it easier to recover from a lopsided inflation. Wish you well Trevor!

Fantastic training content. You have a way of communicating in the moment while teaching that's next level. Props!

Good Video! I'm a fan of not looking at the wing unless it feels wrong, otherwise the feedback gives you everything you need!

Excellent video, I like this format of teaching techniques through videos much more than the videos in the past. A lot more information can be hit upon. Thumbs up.

hmm. any launch have a windsock. always. that way you'll know exactly which way the wind is coming. either forward or reverse. set the wing out properly. preflight checks, mornings and evenings are more settled. I have over 12 years of experience and plenty of air hours. but I still need to fly 3 or 4 times a week to be fit. and ready to fly.I've noticed if due to work or family matters, etc .its like taking a few steps back. and I can make more mistakes. but that's me. practice. practice will always make it better. be aware.be fit.

Simply amazing breakdown Trevor! Thank you for making me a fool about my preconcieved notions of you. I must apologize again, so I will. I apologize for being a d*** to you out of prejudice." I somehow picked up most of the habits you are describing thru training and my own trial/error. I have been a 100% forward takeoff pilot for a while now. You explain perfectly and its refreshing to be reminded of WHY we do these things. I've lots to learn and am FAR from being a skilled pilot. I do find review helpful and thanks again for the time and effort you put into creating this content....

Excellent video. Are your instructors from the before or all new? Also, what would you think about a training giveaway to celebrate the new business and it will help the channel grow for sure.
