It's always messed with me that after everything that happened with Chidori, Junpei became the most level-headed and rational member of SEES besides the protagonist. JUNPEI, of all people. This guy is an immature "Persona-Bro" for like three quarters of the game, but the trauma actually causes him to grow and take things seriously. Here he attempts to diffuse the situation in a jokey manner, knowing that the tensions are high and trying to de-escalate the conflict within his own team. JUNPEI DOES THAT. The Answer is probably the most obvious example of this, only in that case he's living in the aftermath of two losses, and he's even more level-headed and mature because of it. This is why Junpei will always be my favourite Persona character (with the exception of Adachi and tied with Ryuji, mostly for his willingness to literally die to save his team members). People really don't give him and his character arc the credit he deserves.
