Good zoos, ones that are accredited by The Association of Zoos and Aquariums (like us!) are doing some of the most impactful work for conservation around the world. In this video, the first of our new four-part series, we look at the many ways the Dallas Zoo is leading the charge when it comes to conservation, both in our own backyard and around the world.

thank you so much for this. there's a huge anti-zoo wave right now (probably exasperated by shows like tiger king and the efforts of certain 'animal rights' groups). but zoos do SO MUCH to help the world and spread education

Well we just night be able to JOIN YOU because Las Cruces New Mexico needs a Zoo and hopefully the Director is willing to meet this challenge for the Efforts of Wild Life Protection Efforts...

He's safer this way, all wild animals are better off In a natural isolated park then in the wild where they are a danger to everyone and where hunters can kill them.
