That's a nice video.. I came to know basic inputs of thermal analysis but when I repeated your steps I came across an error stating that PCONTHT 3 0.1
SYNTAX ERROR ON THIS CARD IMAGE .
how to get rid of those

I havr to define two different temperatures in two different plates
And both are insulated from surrounding
I need to check for thermal stress generated how do i do that

Hi Swapnil! Long time to talk! Your presentation was excellent! When do you plan to present the heated bore - interference fit coupled analysis that we have discussed in previous conversations? Tell me if I can help.

Hello,

I have some questions:

1. How can I manage convection if I have an assemble that is meshed with Hex and tetra ? do I have to create two groups, one for slave3 (tetra) and one for slave4 (hex) ?

2. In your model, only one part of surfaces is subjected to convection or flux load. So it means the most of your grid point have an initial state at 0°C right ? I guess that for a steady state study it doesn't have much influence but for a transient analysis isn't it better to change the default value or affect a load ? I don't know if I'm clear so I gonna explain myself with my concrete example.
My goal is to see evolution of temperature node grid in an assemble that is placed in oven. For extern surfaces I use convection at the temperature of oven (and coefficient of forced convection). But my assemble has some free volumes inside; what should I do with them ?

3. Does the localisation of the temperature point is important ?

Thanks alot in advance for your help and sorry for my english, it is maybe not that good..

Hello! please can I ask a question? if I am supposed to apply a thermal load on some nodes, which is the default/room temperature assumed, 25°C perhaps? And the value entered as thermal load is the temperature assigned to the node or the veriation with respect to the room temperature? thank you

hey bro
In my problem there is no heat flux in case of heat flux they provide temp of 600 degrees
and to find displacement and stresses my values are zero in scientific values are also zero i have seen ur engine block problem
how can i over come that?

Hello, can I ask an off topic question? to run Hypermesh correctly it's necessary to be always connected to Ethernet??

Hello bro
I have a model I have probelm in meshing it in hypermesh
Do you mind looking into it????
I can send u the file reply to this comment
Also
Can u please create a seperate videos fro different models meshing which are quite different( tricky or complex) that would be really helpful
