Clarinet - The 5-Note Scale (C D E F G)

This is a lesson on how to play the 5-note C scale on clarinet. Using the notes in this scale, you can play many fun songs, including Mary had a Little Lamb, Jingle Bells, and When the Saints Go Marching In.

This is a terrific series! I am now retired and I am a new learner -at age 61 - and the instructions are easy to follow. The added "sheet music" is a great way to also learn how to read music. The presenter is very clear and each lesson is in a small, manageable bite so the experience is not overwhelming.

I play trumpet and am learning how to play clarinet for fun. It is amusing to see the notereading be a subject that is gone over a lot of times in these videos. But it is a necessity, keep practicing all you beginners out there, it gets easier.
