I love both the original and the George Strait one both in different ways. I so much admire the songwriting talent in this song as well as the actual performance by both artists and the fantastic backing on both versions -in their own way. I just love the song.

I have been playing guitar (not well) and writing songs for 30 years. I am simply amazed by his guitar playing. Just cannot figure out the chords he is playing. This has been one of my favorite songs since I heard George Strait sing it when I was driving through Amarillo many years ago. However, George did not do it any better than Aaron. Just amazing!

I love this song. George Strait always acknowledges that it’s all about the song. This is one of best he had the privilege of recording and he did a great job with it. I also enjoy Aaron’s version.

been a fan for a long time Aaron. even contacted Duff. Trying to get the song to the right place is a life long adventure. 53 now and just trying to get this song out to reputable sources. Received several publishing contracts from Bill Butler, Hondo TX. This is my last source that I can think of.
