In this video, we discuss the highly popular BabyAGI app. BabyAGI is a fully autonomous task-tracking, prioritizing, and executing artificial intelligence. Set a goal once, and BabyAGI will continuously create, prioritize, and execute tasks, creating new tasks from the previous results. This is much like AutoGPT in many ways but is a simplified and fully continuous version. Like AutoGPT, we use OpenAI for ChatGPT and Pinecone for storage. Artificial General Intelligence is in the name, and some think this might be the architecture to achieve it, but this is a cool experiment in that direction.

What are you going to build with BabyAGI?

I can't really tell from the video how that is any different from just asking ChatGPT how to grow your Twitter following. How does it execute tasks? How does it know the results of a previous task or if a task is complete?

If you are wondering this is just a cute demo. Its practically useless, it can't do anything ChatGPT can't. Meaning no internet access, no doc reading, nothing.

But it's an interesting proof of concept that's for sure

Open AI came out with a stunning economic impact report about how many tasks and jobs could be done with current AI and better integrations. By the time GPT5 comes out AI will all be using a new form of MSA/SOA that will make knowledged and intelligence basically free

To be able to integrate an API to an AI would open up a lot of doors to a lot fields and businesses. I can see this fully automating a system after a while. Automating even image generation through other models like Bluewillow to create animation too.

Could we use some of this algorithm to apply to NPC AI in video games?
Task = Defeat Player
Knowledge base self = current health, location, data of environment of self (AI), Player.IsInjured?
Knowledge base, surroundings = immediate environment gives shelter? Gives Cover? Gives Ammo? etc.
Update the knowledge base self+environment, and work within parameters to finish task.
