When you go on the longest water slide but wish it was longer

I remember in elementary school when we'd pay a visit to the school library, the first book I'd always ask for was a Guinness book of world records, who else did the same?

Imagine suddenly the water pump stop working in the middle of the ride.

The amazing thing is not that the water slide is so long, but that they pulled it off without it being another Verruckt!

This should be a professional championship sport where you go to the longest water slides in the world and you see on who can get down the bottom the fastest. In terms of how you could do it with sessions:

1. 3 to 4 Qualifying Heat Races
2. 2 Semi Final Races
3. The Final

So how you could have it is for example you have say 64 competitors overall do the heat races. Every odd number in the first semi final, every even number in the second semi final. Top 16 with the fastest times go through where you have a 32 competitor final.
