I don’t know who needs to hear this but you don’t need to be spending 30-60 min everyday in the gym or doing endless cardio, lifting, or fitness classes to prevent or relieve belly and pelvic floor issues!🙌⬇️

Yea, exercise should be about feeling good and being functional!✅

You want to be able to do all the things you love for as long as you can PAIN FREE & SYMPTOM FREE!✅

My second pregnancy has been mainly home workouts because I take care of my 20 month old during the week as a full time mom (I usually only am away from her to work a few hours on the weekends to treat patients in-person😅)

And I love it BUT I don’t have the time to spend hours at the gym like I used to so it’s all about doing the best exercises to help keep me healthy and happy!❤️

If you only have energy or time to do ONE exercise everyday then diaphragmatic breathing would be my number one recommendation especially if you are pregnant or postpartum!

I always give patients a home program that they can do in 5-15 min when they tell me they have kids, work, or just no time for exercise because you can still make changes and relieve issues making small daily changes (trust me I know living with IBS, Ulcerative colitis, and a hypertonic pelvic floor!)

Accurate. I hear so many women be surprised when I tell them I can hold my bladder after birthing 4 babies.
