Honestly? The dude breaking 40k of glass is bad, but... Last month I went on my first day to my job, hoping to impress everyone, when suddenly I feel a lump on my throat, I had to go to the hospital and it was mumps and the store had to close for a day or two just to like, make sure no one was contaminated because I was helping serve food and drinks amongst other stuff haha. The owner was pretty chill and said no one plans to get sick and I'm still welcomed to work there but I still made the shop close for a while so I feel like it isn't that rare to mess up ROYALLY on your first day, I'm not surprised that glass got broken, is all I'm saying.

airport once lost my mom's luggage. she was flying to see my aunt 2 days after with no suitcase. they reimbursed her till they found her luggage so...new with the eventual found luggage

For the suitcase thing, my dad actually got his luggage lost one time, and the company gave him a credit card to replacement the stuff he lost.

This one time my mom and i traveled on a greyhound to South Texas and they sent our luggages to Louisiana. we had to wait 36 hours to get them back. Thank god they had them, but still. If it won't fit on the carry-on thing i won't ever be bringing shit again. Short trip if need be lol

I did a study abroad program in Italy while I was in college. It way my first time on a plane, my first time leaving the country and only the second time I'd even left my home state. I arrived in Rome only to learn that the airline had lost my luggage.

I spent my first 9 days in Rome without any clothes. The program coordinator had to bring me some of her clothes to wear while we waited for the airline to find my luggage. I spent more than a week wearing "mom jeans" that were way too big for me and having to rely on a stranger to lend me her entire wardrobe. And of course during those first few days we were still meeting up as a group every day, so everyone saw me being given clothes to wear and me handing over the stuff I'd worn previously.
