As a child of Chinese immigrants, she captures it so well the experience of any child of immigrants who has had to grow up quickly. The things I had to translate even though I didn't know what I was translating. The exposure to adult problems. In a way, you do lose that innocence because you're aware of issues most kids are sheltered from.

I love how mature, insightful and eloquent Becky G is. And I love that her music is so varied. And I love that she's found this confidence in herself, her body, her sensuality.

I love what she represents for all women in the industry. I hope we get more celebrities like her. She's a better role model than many others.

I relate so much to what she says about here parents being babies having babies. I am also the oldest of 4. Yes, we had to grow up translating rent papers, legal papers and so much. It is a heavy weight for Latino/a youth growing up. We become adults being kids
