Governor DeSanty was ALL over the news EVERY DAY for a week prior to HURRICANE MILTON advising dozens and dozens of fuel tankers were on the way to the West Coast of Florida so the areas in the direct path of the Hurricane would have fuel AND that those 27 tankers would be escorted by Florida Highway Patrol troopers. He repeated that over and over. Yep, here in Tampa Bay, haven't seen ANY fuel trucks for 4 days now. Gas stations are out all around the Tampa Bay area.

Just tell us who has gas and where they are located. It's very simple. Tell us what station and where they're located if there aren't any just say that. And please stop mentioning GasBuddy it's not accurate and a total waste of time

It seems like we should be on the lookout for fuel thieves who take gas from people's cars these days.

Problem is that almost 3/4 of the county doesn’t have power. I’m good but it does seem that Pinellas is not receiving any type of priority which is weird, it’s usually the other way around. Good thing I was ready.

Why didn't they have emergency power generators ready for this?

Insane gas shortage in Tampa/StPete. Come on Ron, you said we'd have fuel by now. And now we got a third hurricane coming...

This is ridiculous. The local government and utilities were totally unprepared. No gas. No water. No groceries. No power. Where is Mayor Castor? Waiting until Thursday for power restoration in Tampa by TECO is totally unacceptable. Gas situation is a crisis and is creating dangerous and violent situation in Tampa. Get this fixed NOW!

Tell your enemies that one port supplies the fuel source

I’m glad that they got fixed, but just curious why did it take more than 24 hours to restore power to their plant ? Anyways, I’m glad it’s fixed…

I'm looking for Milkshake in the Clearwater area. Or anything open in the West Tampa Bay Area. How about putting a reporter on a Milkshake search.🥤

The complaining inpatient people are annoying AF!! The Tampa Bay area handled this hurricane very well, it could have been way worse. Be thankful it wasn't a Katrina situation. Yes I would like my power on, the crews are doing their best. It's a big job, be patient and know next week at this time things will be closer to normal.
