All of my life I have known I wanted to make whirligigs when I retire. I have never learned wood carving but I just retired so its time to learn. This is the first video I have looked at on the subject and you packed in everything in the first 6 minutes. A good look at carving, information on other you tube carvers, sources for tools and equipment, and encouragement. I will be watching them all and plan to create some myself.

Just wanted you to know I am an 80's baby and those wirlygigs or as we always called them windmills were really popular back 30+ years ago. Brought back some memories. Thanks for bringing them back.
