Hey Philip, just a tip, the story about the magnetic field and sustain is just false, the magnetic field of the pickups are extremely weak. There's a Youtube video, by Will Easy Guitar, where he puts a VERY strong magnet above the guitar and the sustain is barely affected. It's really just a myth...

Great review! saw another review by a couple of guys who were clowns. Did not give any of the important info you did and did not play one EVH lick or song. Ed was a huge influence on me in my early years of playing. Your review answered many of my questions such as the paint job. The magnet in a pickup has almost no effect at all on the sustain, it would need to be much, much stronger.

Great Video ! I got my W/B one Friday as a scratch n dent and its a great playing guitar . love the unfinished neck had to raise the bridge and re-intonate the g string but after a new set of .009's its bangin ! keep up the great video's .
