Diana Games Through Time #31 - Spore (2008)

This next game may not be anywhere near as graphically impressive as the last one, but it does have a huge amount of variety in different gameplay styles as the game progresses. Watch as Diana evolves life from a single-celled organism and tries to stay alive. Will she make it out of the water and onto the land? Keep watching, to find out!

In each episode of Diana Games Through Time we will play one PC game from each year in chronological order starting from 1978. We will watch as black and white text on a screen turns into millions of colours in a 3d expansive living and breathing universe. I think BeamNG.drive would be a great example for newer games, the physics and graphics are truly impressive and it's easier to pick up than 2005's Rigs of Rods.
