Okay, I’m a mature 62 yo female. All women who don’t want a husband are not damaged. I love my life and the freedom to explore me in many areas of life. I don’t want a husband but would accept a companion. I like me and my company. I’ve realized through my life journey, that connection and wholeness of being comes from within. Being connected deeply with in brings a contentment that is that is beyond the mind and relationships. Not talking about religion either. It was casual conversation where I expressed to my ex that it shouldn’t take a year for us to figure out if we want to be married. As we came upon 11 months I knew he was going to propose but I still wasn’t sure, so I ended the relationship. God is not the author of confusion, it was time to stop ignoring the signs we were not right for one another, although he checked all the boxes that were not character boxes.
