I finally got mine in and used it, I love it so far. Yeah it’s expensive but when I added up getting the power rotary scissors and an extra extension piece for my Ryobi attachment trimmer it was not much less than the Milwaukee setup honestly. So far I’m digging it!!

We had a similar unit at least 25 years ago. Used it for edging sand traps at a golf course. Called it a Jari on a stick.

I like that tool, and i have the quick lock system edger, string trimmer and chain saw. They also made a broom and a few other things.
One thing this tool needs is a hight adjustment and wheel for edging.
You should edge with the edger once or twice a year and use the clippers to cut that way you have a gap between the pavement and lawn that way you do not damage the blades. Plus the gap looks nice

I have something similar from Kawasaki from 20 years ago. Still going strong and very useful around rock gardens and trimming around stepping stones. Worth the money.

I kind of use my milwaukee brush cutter attachment in a similar way. Throws a spark when I hit rocks though 😄

I bought rotary scissors for my Milwaukee Trimmer over 5 yrs ago for under $300. They were great. I’ll never use a string trimmer again.

Im still recovering from sticker shock, but will suck it up and add these to the collection before too long. Painting my white vinyl fence green with the string trimmer is getting old.

Nice video…. Does this give a lower HOC than the Idech PRS? Thanks…

That clunking while trimming near the fence is the sound of you dulling the blade and tearing up your metal fence.

Redmax had this 20 years ago
Good for all kinds of things

I was waiting for this review. Seen these at the beginning of the year and now get to see them in action. Nice!

I like that it doesn't throw cuttings like string trimmers. Dont like making a mess in some areas. I have a quick-lock but will pass because of the price.

Like these reciprocating scissors for the mere fact they are easy to see the cutting edge. Unlike some weed eater strings that I find difficult to see. Good review Brandon

Great review! I can't seem to find your name in any of your videos, but whomever you are, I loved you vid. I'd like to feature it on our show this Friday. We'll just highlight that you're reviewing the Milwaukee Recip, and send people to you for the review. Any issue with that? Thanks! - Rob

Still on the fence with these. Mine just arrived. I think I have the same fence as you. Its so hard to get close when you cant go under it without hitting it. it cant be good for the paint and if you don't get close it leave blades up against the fence. I picked the attachment up because I didn't want to be beating up my pretty aluminum fence with a string trimmer. They do make a great cut but I'm not happy using it against the fence.

That thing looks like a medieval weapon . it's bound to turn up in a horror or action film soon.
