A Pierce County Sheriff's deputy was involved in a shooting Thursday morning near Frederickson following the pursuit of a vehicle in connection to several armed robberies, the sheriff's department said.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Department (PCSD) said the incident began just before 10:30 a.m. when a deputy saw a vehicle wanted in connection to an armed carjacking and several armed robberies in Frederickson.
