I'm actually surprised that your reaction was so mild. I was so put off by the look of the genie. It just didn't look right to me. It was kinda like Will Smith is wearing a foam muscle suit or something...and painted blue. And it's not even a good muscle suit. Just cringey to me. I feel like we can do better effects than that these days. But maybe I'm overreacting. I guess I just had an image in my head and that wasn't it.

It's just bad cgi. I hope they have some rendering still going on. But jafars voice is a big no no

This is a good example of a dishonestly optimistic review. They know the
trailer is a huge disappointment, but they're afraid to say so, because they
are desperately hoping the movie will actually be good. Not a chance.

I can tell you a few things people are upset about:

1. Jafar's Voice isn't creepy or intimidating at all, and compared to the original voice actor I can understand why people are upset.

2. Genie (I've got nothing against Will Smith) he just doesn't look good?? Idk They've got time to fix that though

"Photorealistic" hadn't heard that term but perfect description for "live action" . As for this video, Genie...underwhelming but will hold judgement. Jafar...he's my biggest problem. His voice didn't have that "bad guy" tone to it. The rest...I agree about it all being a copy of cartoon but need more.

The biggest problem with creating a live action Aladdin is, Robin Williams not only played the role of Genie, he created the character we love, so it's hard to accept Will Smith just being a blue Will Smith.

I love the 'Jasmine they have, she's an amazing actor. I'm o.k. with 'Jafar in the beginning he's pretending to be someone else to fool 'Aladdin I can't wait to see the movie, I'm a give it a chance. Aladdin is my favorite 'DISNEY movie. I just hope they fix the CGI in front for 'Will. Good video 👌

Didn't look too bad?? Adam, that was horrible! The genie looked like he was blown up on helium and steroids. Jafar looked sexier than Aladdin, and he's supposed to be a creepy old guy. Jay said it best. It's Aladdin cosplay at it's worst.

You can say that about Beauty and the beast because you have hindsight. When the trailer for BATB came out people were saying the same (about it being exactly the same) You cannot say that about this yet because you've not seen it. None it looks exactly the same at all. It looks completely different
