the room connected to the guest room could be a pool room because it had a door to go outside, in the pool room you keep all your outdoor stuff and it’s where everyone goes into after swimming so you don’t get everywhere else in the house all wet. you can store towels and pool things in there and maybe have chairs to make it a place to sit down as well. LOVE YOU GUYS❤️ IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU❤️

The house looks amazing! The loft space could be a great play room for the kids! And then when they get older, it could be a fun hangout room for them and their friends with a TV or something like that. Love you guys!

Yes to the sitting room attached to the guest bedroom! A place where guests can go and read in the morning/evening or watch tv. Introverts need social prep/recovery time away from other people 🥰 I’m an extrovert in a family of introverts, so I am well aware of the personal space/time factor ❤️ A sofa with a pullout would maximize the area ❤️

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HARD WOOD FLOORS *EVERY WHERE* in your house! Well, not even just hardwood but tile and they even make some really laminate flooring— Pergo is the kind I had in my apartment and it’s not only gorgeous but INDESTRUCTIBLE 🤣🤣 it’s like waterproof, scuff-proof, etc. idk why people even want carpet anymore nowadays tbh. It’s just so so “dirty” feeling in my opinion… especially if there are animals or children in the house. And since y’all are starting a little fam, I definitely recommend anything but carpet lol.

I also understand liking the softness of carpet but I just use big fluffy rugs in areas that I want to be a little softer! They also make HEATED FLOORING! I could just see how excited Matt would be with some heated tile in yalls big ole bathroom 🤣🤣

I’m seriously so excited for you guys!! You two are some of the most humble influencers & have lived in very small/tight/uncomfortable spaces for years just so you could save up for this big moment. You two truly deserve all the best 💕🥺

I know the feeling. My husband and I also saved up for 4-5 years. Lived with his parents, my parents and lived in a camper and we finally became homeowners in Sept 2021.
Now we look back and laugh at everything we've been through. If I could go back and experience it all again I would. The best part was the journey to get to where we wanted.
