Was going to leave a funny comment. But, I want to say thanks for helping me go from not running at all to running a 5.5 mile! (8.85 K)

Anerobic threshold is the pace you can ran for 60min and no its not really hard if you do it as intervalls like you should. Thats what science says. This Video is as wrong as it could get

I thought threshold was more of an effort level than pace. Like a 20 min threshold run usually ends up being half marathon pace but if you do threshold intervals, you might end up with more 5-10k pace, or you can even do 200m repeats at threshold to comfortably run mile pace.

I did a threshold test with my Garmin watch (+ chest strap HRM), and the result was 5:13/km, but my 5K PB is 4:25/km and 10K PB is 4:45/km, so it doesn't match what you are telling here. Of course the watch can be wrong.
Additionally I have a question regarding this. The Garmin race predictor predicts a 1:42 half marathon time for me, but that's way faster than my threshold pace, so theoretically it would be impossible to keep that pace during the half marathon. Then which pace should I aim for on a half marathon?

Yes, i did 2 times threshold in a week. To practice my 5k/10k pace in interval. 💪💪💪
