What a joy to watch! Your work is systematic, clean and confident. As a retired service manager, I would give you a job any day and would let you work on my own car. Well done my friend.

Thanks you so much for the video. I am a diy person and this video has really helped me to work on my D40. If possible, can make and upload a video of assembly a short motor.

Does your kit provide different size shims for fuel pump sprocket?

It might have been asked already but I’ve looked through the comments and I haven’t see anyone ask but at 1:55 in the video where you put lock tight on is that the only place I should be putting some? Cause I feel stressed thinking that all the other bolts and nuts should be fine without lock tight.. great video tho I’ll be using it as a guide very soon

Great tutorial mate. I followed your exact steps but afterwards when I rotate the crank by hand the timing marks on the chain never line up again with the dots on the gears. The dots on the gears always line up correctly though. Would this be okay?

Great vid. Have watched a couple of times. Many thanks.
I have a couple of questions:
- What are your thoughts on doing this job with engine in vehicle? How much harder is it?
- Another YT channel with a lot of YD25 experience reckons you should never turn the engine with a socket & bar on the crank. It can cause the chains to skip a tooth??
If this is true, what's the best way to rotate the engine when doing a routine inspection of the chains?

Hello, why do you remove the lower chain single and then put on a double one with double sprockets, isn't it originally a single chainring with single sprockets?
